————Daxun produces titanium tubes in China to meet the diverse and ——demanding needs of customers!

A global leader in commercially pure titanium tube fabrication services

Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 1 Tube is one of the softest and most ductile types with excellent formability. Grade 1 Titanium Tube is primarily used in the maritime and chemical industries where parts are exposed to extremely harsh conditions. The ultimate tensile strength of SB 338 Gr 1 Tube is 35 KSI min (240 MPa min), while the yield strength (0.2% variation) of Cp Grade 1 Tube is 25 – 45 KSI (170 – 310 MPa). Ti Cp Grade 1 Seamless Tube is also known as TA1, Titan Grade 1, and Gr 1. Grade 1 Titanium Tube is a non-alloyed, low-strength titanium tube product with low oxygen concentration and excellent formability; it is used in the chemical industry, heat exchangers, and desalination facilities.

Grade 1 Titanium Tube is also well suited for manufacturing exhaust systems, charge air pipes, and water pipes. We offer Titanium Tube with a thickness equivalent to 1.2 mm and diameters ranging from 51 mm to 102 mm (the most common exhaust system sizes). Therefore, these tubes are more stable and stronger even at higher exhaust gas temperatures.

Daxun certifies and tests titanium alloy tubes according to ASME SB/ASTM, B861 and B862, including hardness testing, hydrostatic testing, eddy current testing, ultrasonic defect identification, tensile testing, flattening, expansion testing, annealing, tempering, stress relief, etc.

Advanced Production:Titanium seamless pipe

  • Titanium seamless tubes are hot rolled or hot extruded, straightened, processed with inner and outer diameters, and surface etched. Tubes can be supplied in heat-treated or non-heat-treated forms. Daxun has 100% ultrasonic testing capabilities. Hot rolled tube/hot extruded titanium seamless tube: outer diameter 1.0 mm to 325 mm, wall thickness 0.3 mm to 50 mm, length up to 12000 mm. Cold rolled titanium seamless tube: cold processed tubes are supplied after heat treatment, surface etching, hydrostatic test or ultrasonic inspection according to the requirements of the manufacturing specification. Outer diameter 6 mm to 102 mm, wall thickness 0.5 mm to 20 mm, length up to 9000 mm.
  • (The above is agreed upon by the manufacturer and the customer based on the specific situation)

Advanced Production: Titanium Welded Tube

Titanium Welded Tube: Diameter ranges from 6.0mm to 1219mm, wall thickness ranges from 0.3mm to 30mm (depending on diameter), length up to 25000mm, made from Gr1 titanium tube. Welded tubes are made from flat rolled billets (tube blanks) on electric tube welding machines using automatic tungsten inert gas (argon) welding, and heat treated on the mill line. Mechanical tests, geometric measurements, 100% ultrasonic and eddy current testing, pneumatic or hydrostatic testing are performed before the finished titanium welded tubes are packaged according to customer specifications. Manufacturing technology as well as inspection and testing equipment ensure that thin wall welded tubes meet ASTM B 338 and ASME SB 338 specifications.

Grade 1 titanium tube form (4)

  • Titanium seamless tubes are made by piercing and drawing solid titanium bars, and the hollow part of the tube is made by piercing or hot extrusion. Titanium seamless tubes are ideal for very large diameter to wall thickness ratios and have very good external dimensional tolerances.

  • Titanium welded pipe is a tubular product made of strip titanium that is roll formed and fusion welded along the longitudinal seam. The welding process used by Daxun Alloy does not use any filler metal during the welding process.

  • Titanium square tubes are drawn from round tubes or round tube billets and can be formed into right angles or rounded corners. They can also be cold extruded, which is efficient and low cost. The only disadvantage is that the tolerance will gradually increase.

  • Tubular products are welded and then re-drawn to final size. Welding and drawing is ideal for producing thick walled, large diameter tubes that cannot be welded directly to size but still offer cost savings over seamless tubes. All Daxun welded and drawn tubes are bright annealed.

Daxun is a trustworthy stainless steel tube manufacturer

As a professional manufacturer, Daxun ensures that all the products we produce are of high quality. Therefore, we ensure that all titanium tubes are certified by ISO9001, SGS, CE, OQC and more international quality standards. We also conduct strict quality control to ensure that the stainless steel tubes have less defects. At Daxun, you can rest assured that all products are durable, high quality and excellent in performance.

  • Pure titanium Grade 1 has excellent ductility and cold formability, making it ideal for deep drawing. Titanium Grade 1 is well-known for its good general and seawater corrosion resistance, as well as its great resistance to oxidising, neutral, and mildly reducing media (solutions), including chlorides.
  • Titanium’s low density (approximately half that of nickel-based alloys), high strength-to-weight ratio, and corrosion resistance make it an excellent choice for a variety of harsh chemical conditions.
Which grade of titanium is the best?

The grade of titanium alloy you need depends on the project you are working on, as each grade has different benefits.

All grades of titanium alloy are extremely strong and corrosion resistant, which means they will continue to work well in the harshest conditions.

The higher grades of titanium alloy (5-12) are alloys designed for specific benefits. For example, grade 12 titanium alloy has excellent heat resistance, making it a perfect choice for shell and tube heat exchangers, hydraulic piping, and chemical industry equipment.

Grades 1-4 are pure titanium alloys, and they are a perfect choice if you need a weldable, ductile material for piping systems and tubing. You will find lower grades used in the marine and industrial industries.

If you are starting a project and are unsure which grade of titanium alloy is best for you, contact us today; we are more than happy to help you.

How are higher grades of titanium different to the lower grades?

At DAXUN, we offer a wide range of titanium alloy grades from grade 1 to grade 12.

Grades 1-4 are pure titanium, while higher grades are alloys.

Alloy grades are popular for their high strength-to-weight ratio.

The most commonly used titanium alloy grade we find is grade 5. While still high in titanium, this grade is one of the most reliable because it can withstand temperatures up to 600°F and withstand extreme conditions.

Higher grades are favored by industries such as aerospace and marine industries for their wear and corrosion resistance.

Conversely, lower grades are primarily used for welding due to their lower strength.

Does the grade of titanium affect the cost?

While the grade of titanium does increase the cost slightly, the total cost is primarily determined by the shape and form of titanium you require.

At DAXUN, we offer a wide range of titanium products, including tubes, tubes, coils and bars. The length, width and quantity of each item you require will affect the amount you pay at checkout.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to come up with a price online without knowing much about your project and what the titanium will be used for.
