Grades and standards of Daxun alloy titanium rods
Daxun stocks CP Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) titanium rod, with Grade 7, 9, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, and 23 also available. Diameters range from 1mm to 300mm, with custom orders available for larger sizes. Titanium rod is produced to ASTM B348 and ASTM B381, with medical-grade material available to ASTM F67 and F136 for implant applications. AMS specifications are also supported AMS4928、4967. Daxun’s heat treatment furnace
Titanium rod heat treatment uses controlled furnace equipment to ensure stability and consistent performance across the specified condition. Heat treatment relieves internal stress from forging and rolling, and stabilizes the microstructure to the properties required for the grade. Stress relief annealing is standard for most commercially pure grades, while alloy grades such as Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) can be solution treated and aged to reach higher strength levels. Daxun’s smelting ability
Daxun uses electron beam melting to reduce impurities during the smelting process, improving the consistency and performance of the finished titanium rod. Electron beam melting removes high-density inclusions and volatile impurities that are difficult to eliminate with conventional melting, which is one reason it’s widely used for titanium destined for critical structural and medical applications. This is combined with in-process testing at each stage to confirm the material meets the specified chemistry and mechanical properties before it moves to forming.
