Welded & Drawn Tubing
Welded tube redrawn to final size — the way to get heavy wall-to-diameter ratios that can’t be welded directly, at a lower cost than seamless. All Daxun welded and drawn tube is bright annealed.
Seamless Tubing
Drawn from hollows made by piercing a billet or hot extrusion. Best suited for heavy diameter-to-wall ratios and tight outside-diameter tolerances.

Application cases of stainless steel pipes in different industries
Daxun Stainless has developed R&D and manufacturing technology for N08825 alloy pipes for high-pressure hydrogen applications. The product and various mechanical, physical and chemical properties have reached the international advanced level, meeting the requirements for the use of alloy seamless pipes for high-pressure hydrogen applications, and realizing high-pressure hydrogen applications. The engineering development of alloy seamless pipe products has formed independent intellectual property rights and industrialization capabilities. It meets the pipe requirements for petroleum hydrogenation units, and also meets the needs of special pipes for nuclear power, petrochemical, coal-to-liquids, chemical industry, aerospace and other major equipment and high-end equipment manufacturing.
In thermal power generation, the use of supercritical units and ultra-supercritical units has increased. The supercritical unit improves the thermal efficiency of the unit by increasing the pressure and temperature of the steam in the boiler. Its steam and water pipelines include reheater tubes, superheater tubes, water wall tubes, economizer tubes, air preheating tubes, heat transfer tubes, and downcomers. And various header pipes are exposed to high temperature and high pressure conditions for a long time, so the steel pipes are required to have high lasting strength, high resistance to oxidation and corrosion and good structural stability. Usually, the number of high-pressure boiler tubes such as Super304H and HR3C consumed per million kilowatts of super (super)critical units is about 1,250 tons.
Daxun developed the manufacturing technology of large-diameter super duplex stainless steel seamless pipes, realized the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into high-tech products for marine engineering, and served as a demonstration for the industrialization of key equipment and systems in high-end ship and marine engineering manufacturing.
Daxun joined the ranks of qualified suppliers and developed the core technology of N08367 seamless and welded steel pipe manufacturing for third-generation nuclear power AP1000, achieving major industrialization goals. Reaching the international advanced and leading level, the implementation of the project will effectively promote the independence of the nuclear power industry, meet the development needs of domestic and foreign advanced nuclear power equipment manufacturing, and ensure the safe operation of nuclear power plants.
Focusing on the performance requirements of welded pipes for LNG, Daxun broke through the key technologies of welding and heat treatment during product processing and manufacturing, and developed large-diameter stainless steel welded pipes for LNG with excellent corrosion resistance, low-temperature toughness and good low-temperature strength.
