CP Grade 3 Titanium plate is a commercially pure titanium grade known for its excellent balance of strength and ductility. It offers higher mechanical properties compared to Grades 1 and 2, making it ideal for applications requiring moderate strength and good formability. This grade features outstanding corrosion resistance, especially in marine and chemical environments, along with low density and high toughness.

CP Grade 3 vs. Other Titanium Grades

However, it is far easier to form and fabricate, and it provides superior corrosion resistance in many reducing chemical environments. This makes CP Grade 3 the ideal choice when your project requires a step up in strength from the basic CP grades but cannot sacrifice the ease of manufacturing and outstanding durability needed for demanding aerospace, marine, and chemical processing applications.
