Type 304 stainless steel is an austenitic nickel alloy with extremely low carbon content, making it ideal for welding applications. It is essentially an austenitic chromium alloy, sometimes known as “18/8” stainless steel because it contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Our 304 stainless steel pipe has exceptional strength and oxidation resistance, great formability, and moderate machinability. For applications requiring increased resistance to intergranular corrosion, we propose 304L stainless steel, which has a better immunity in severely corrosive situations. В заказе на поставку должно быть указано количество, марка PSL, тип или класс, ссылка на API5L, наружный диаметр, толщина стенки, длина и любые применимые приложения или дополнительные требования, касающиеся химического состава, механических свойств, термообработки, дополнительных испытаний, процесса производства, поверхностного покрытия или конечной отделки. Трубы отжигаются в растворе.

GENERAL PROPERTIES

  • 304/304L stainless steel pipe is common and is treated to obtain better machinability and uniformity. This stainless steel pipe has good corrosion resistance, higher life and quality, and lower total cost of machined parts. DAXUN 304/304L is non-magnetic when annealed, but may be slightly magnetic after cold working or welding. Delivered in solution annealed state.

APPLICATIONS:

DAXUN304/304L Stainless Steel is used in a wide variety of home and commercial applications, including:

  • Chemical process equipment
  • Food and beverage industry

STANDARDS:

  • ASTM/ASME:  UNS S30400 / S30403
  • EURONORM: 1.4301 / 1.4307

CORROSION RESISTANCE:

  • Daxun 304/304L is a versatile, general purpose stainless steel with good resistance to atmospheric corrosion, to many organic and inorganic chemicals, and to food and beverages.
  • It has also been used in vacuum processing equipment and specialized instruments where high integrity is essential.

HEAT RESISTANCE:

  • Good oxidation resistance in intermittent service to 1600°F and in continuous service to 1690°F.
  • Continuous use of 304 in the 800-1580°F range is not recommended if subsequent aqueous corrosion resistance is important.

WELDING CHARACTERISTICS:

  • readily welded by full range of conventional welding procedures except oxyacetylene.
  • AWS E308L/ ER308L filler metal should be used with Daxun 304/304L steel.

MACHINABILITY:

  • offers faster machining speeds, longer tool life, improved part quality and lower total cost of machined parts.
