Since 2003, Daxun’s titanium sheet and plate have been supplied for chemical processing, marine, medical, and architectural applications. Medical-grade material — CP Grade 1–4 and Ti-6Al-4V ELI — is produced to ASTM F67 and ISO 5832-2 for orthopedic and dental implant use. CP Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is also supplied for automotive and sports equipment applications where high strength-to-weight ratio matters. Commercially pure grades hold up to service temperatures with a melting range around 3,000°F (1,650°C), making titanium a reliable choice where corrosion resistance and thermal stability both matter. Titanium has a density of approximately 4.51 g/cm³ — about 60% of steel’s density at comparable strength.
A stable, self-healing oxide layer gives titanium excellent resistance to seawater, chlorides, and most acids — significantly outperforming stainless steel in chloride-rich environments.
