At Daxun, we are pleased to provide customers with high-quality super duplex 2507 stainless steel plates, which are a 50/50 mixture of austenite and ferrite, stronger than pure austenite or iron alloys. Since its birth in the United States in the 1940s, it has developed to the third generation, and its main feature is that the yield strength can reach 400-550MPa, which is twice that of ordinary stainless steel, so the duplex plate can save materials and reduce equipment manufacturing costs. In terms of corrosion resistance, especially in media environments (such as seawater, high chloride ion content), the resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion, and corrosion fatigue of duplex stainless steel is better than that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel, and is comparable to high-alloy austenitic stainless steel. This grade of plate has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion coefficient.
