Duplex 2205 stainless steel plate for extreme environments
Daxun offers a large stock of 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Plates in sizes from 1/16 inch (1.0mm) to 6 inches (152.4mm) thick. The yield strength of this material is about twice as high as that of regular austenitic stainless steels, which means designers can use less material and save on costs compared to using 316L or 317L stainless steel.
2205 Duplex Stainless Steel is made up of 22% chromium, 3% molybdenum, and 5-6% nickel. It is strong and has great resistance to problems like stress corrosion cracking, crevice corrosion, pitting, erosion, and general corrosion, even in tough environments, thanks to its superior corrosion resistance. This type of stainless steel is popular because it combines the best properties of both ferritic and austenitic steels.

Duplex 2205 Stainless Steel sheet and plate
Duplex SS 2205 is a very useful type of stainless steel that combines two structures: ferritic and austenitic. It has 22% chromium, 3% molybdenum, and 5-6% nickel, which makes it strong and highly resistant to different kinds of corrosion, like pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. It can handle tough conditions and is often used in harsh environments.

B) Minimize vibration by keeping the tool extension as short as possible.
