Characteristics & Properties of Hastelloy C-276
Hastelloy C-276 (N10276，2.4819) is a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with a small amount of tungsten. Alloy C-276 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of harsh environments and media. Like many other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easily formed and welded. This alloy is used in most industrial settings where aggressive chemical environments are present and other alloys have failed.
Physical properties: The density of C276 alloy is 8.90g/cm3, the specific heat is 425J/kg/k, and the elastic modulus is 205Gpa (21℃). Its melting point ranges from 1325-1370℃, ensuring stability in high temperature environments.
Mechanical properties: C276 alloy exhibits high strength and toughness. Its tensile strength and yield strength vary with temperature, but it performs well at low and medium temperatures. In addition, cold deformation processing can further improve its strength.
Corrosion resistance: C276 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance to wet chlorine, various oxidizing chlorides, chloride salt solutions, sulfuric acid and oxidizing salts, etc., and is an ideal material choice in the chemical and petrochemical fields.
Application areas: Due to its excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, C276 alloy is widely used in chemical, petrochemical, flue gas desulfurization, pulp and papermaking, environmental protection and other industrial fields, especially in high temperature, inorganic acid and organic acid environments mixed with impurities.

C-276 Hastelloy alloy pipe is a tungsten-containing nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with extremely low silicon and carbon. It is generally considered to be a universal corrosion-resistant alloy. The alloy has the following characteristics:
- ① It has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres.
- ② It has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress cracking corrosion.
Hastelloy C-276 Pipe Features
C-276 Hastelloy alloy pipe is suitable for various chemical industries containing oxidizing and reducing media. The higher content of molybdenum and chromium makes the alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion, and the tungsten element further improves the corrosion resistance. At the same time, C-276 Hastelloy alloy pipe is one of the only few materials that are resistant to corrosion by moist chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions, and has significant corrosion resistance to high-concentration chloride solutions such as ferric chloride and cupric chloride.

During the production process, we meticulously measure the outer diameter, wall thickness, and surface quality of the products. Our standard delivery time is 5 – 7 days, and for special sizes, it is 15 – 20 days.
